Update - to begin running again

Well, been awhile since I made any updates. Went to my doctor on Wednesday and got the official go ahead to work out and run again.. YEAH.

I did my first Pilate class on Monday and felt good.. but a bit slow and sluggish. On Thursday I worked out on Biceps and Triceps and did some core workouts and felt great. Today I took my Pilates class and did much better. Slowly getting back into my routine since my Pnemonia.

Tomorrow I am coaching so I will most likely be on the bike for that. I will either run or bike on sunday and monday

Cheers

Call me stubborn

Yes, ok, Call me stubborn.., but I went on my building where I work to do a very light workout.
My shoulder feels fine. Did some of the therapy movement the doctor suggested and then moved on to do biceps. But very light. I could not do triceps because it hurt my shoulder. Although I did push ups and it did not feel any pain on my shoulder at all. Did 3 sets of 25 push up. I took it light.
I went on to do abs and sit up and felt good.
As I look down on my knee and leg, I noticed that it is very bruised up down to my shin and a bit swollen, which I did not notice before....hmmmmmm. I better be ready for RAGBRAI on the 20th
That is it for now

Updates

Well, I am quite excited, just recieved the packet from the Lake Tahoe Management unit and I am now set to do some planning. Oh, so many hikes so little time. The maps are awesome and water proof. So I am off tonight to see if I can see any interesting hikes.

This Saturday our Cycling team for Lake Tahoe will be off riding outside, we are only doing 15 miles in Naperville, but it might be a bit cold.

More later

Stay tuned......
